Welcome.

Hi! I’m Angelica Yi, LCSW.

My pronouns are she/her/hers and they/them/theirs.

I am a queer, Korean American, licensed therapist, providing individual telehealth therapy to adults living in California.

Please reach out if you’d like to inquire about openings and set up a free consultation.

I work with adults who feel caught or stuck in the binaries of who they “should” or “shouldn’t” be, including:

Queer folks

Gender diverse folks

BIPOC folks, specifically of the Asian diaspora

The unofficial “therapist” of the group

The good or mature daughter/son/child

Adult children of immigrants

Artists & Creatives

I tend to work with folks who create their own paths in life - ones that may diverge from the norm. Oftentimes, these paths emerge from a place of necessity, without much support, and lacking a roadmap or guide.

Perhaps this is how you’ve learned to survive within your family, faith communities, relationships, workplaces, schools, institutions, and systems. Or maybe you’ve had enough of placing everyone else above you, at the expense of your own wants and needs. Maybe you aren’t sure what you want, and find it hard to connect to your embodied, feeling self. Or perhaps, you’re wondering what’s next as you continue with your growth, expansion, and self-exploration in whatever stage of life you’re in.

Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to join you.
